Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief

Immediate Supplies Needed - (Asheville/Black Mountain/Montreat/Buncombe County)

Black Mountain Presbyterian Church is serving as a direct support hub for the area, feeding folks and distributing supplies. Rev. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Cleanup Buckets

PDA has significant need for Cleanup Buckets to replenish their stock. They have already shipped out 3,000+ buckets to Helene-affected areas, and the buckets they have in the warehouse for continued response are running low. Instructions for assembling completed buckets are available online here (note the $3 processing fee per bucket).

If you are not able to assemble full buckets, PDA also welcomes donations of individual items that are on the list, which volunteers can use to assemble buckets at the warehouse. Buckets and bucket supplies can also be brought to the Small Church Gathering or the presbytery office, and we will deliver to the PDA warehouse at Ferncliff as buckets accumulate.
